Guardians of the Moonlight: Members

Here you will find information about our founders, the members of the guild council, and a list of Guardians of the Moonlightmembers who also have accounts on Gaia Online. There is also information here about the guild ranksfor non-council members and how to earn promotions.

The Founders

The Guardians of the Moonlight guild on Neopets was founded by greenturtle4 (account inactive) and smilepixie16 (account closed). Greenturtle4, whom members came to know as Jupi, was the original Sailor Jupiter of the guild council. Her account still holds the first council position, but she is no longer active on Neopets. Smilepixie16, or Smile for short, was the original Sailor Mars of the guild council. She closed her Neopets account as she no longer visits Neopets.

Jupi and Smile had closed the guild, but it has been re-opened. Lanisatu, the council's Sailor Venus, currently manages the guild with Firebal4 and Mako_chan4.

While we may miss our founders, GotM has become a guild that continues to thrive with friendship and activity. New and old members are always welcome!

*Message board moderation entails deletion of spam and duplicate posts. For members eligible for future promotion; moderators, please keep track of what types of posts were deleted and submit data to Lanisatu to add to a central list. Objectionable posts are to have a copy e-mailed to Lanisatu by a moderator. Disciplinary action will be jointly decided by Lanisatu, Firebal4, and Mako_chan4.

Posts on the message board are automatically deleted when they are five days old. The board does not need to be cleared out, please leave all other messages to be cleaned up by the automatic Neopets settings so that all members have an opportunity to read all approved messages.

Promotions

Non-Council Promotions

time: membership length must be a minimum of 1 month for promotion to level 4 (neo senshi)
posts: 25 posts minimum before qualified for level 4 (neo senshi), without extra contributions
50 posts minimum before qualified for level 3 (silver senshi)
75 posts minimum before qualified for level 2 (imperial senshi)
100 posts minimum before qualified for level 1 (eternal senshi)
spam posts: each spam post is -2 posts from overall post count
double posts/ duplicate posts: double posts or duplicate posts should be avoided (i.e. posting the same message twice in a row). If a copied post is made, the copy will be deleted, and post count adjusted so that only unique posts are counted.
objectionable posts: moderators are to e-mail a copy of the message to Lanisatu for review before deleting. Disciplinary action will be a joint decision by Lanisatu, Firebal4, and Mako_chan4
extra contributions: each extra contribution may qualify a non-council member for a maximum of one level of promotion
alumni: former council members who left the guild and returned are immediately qualified for promotion to non-council level 1 (eternal senshi). Former non-council members who left and returned are immediately qualified for promotion to level 3 (silver senshi). Other considerations may qualify former non-council members for further promotion.

Promotions to Council

To be eligible for council promotion, user must be a member for a minimum of one month. If member leaves the guild and returns, that time is reset. Member must make extra contributions (at least one) to show commitment to the guild and demonstrate ability to be a contributing member of the council. Member must also have made a minimum of 50 posts (no spam or duplicate posts).

Sailor Jupiter title reserved for Greenturtle4 (Jupi) and not available for other members.
Sailor Mars title reserved for Smilepixie16 (Smile) and not available for other members.
Sailor Moon and her other likenesses are not available as titles.

Title can be any inner or outer senshi, or other significant hero (Tuxedo Mask or Helios e.g. for males)

Preference will be given to non-council members who have already earned level 1 non-council promotion (eternal senshi).

Members who do not meet these requirements will have their applications denied.
